We are delighted to have been shortlisted twice as finalists in both the New Civil Engineer Tunnelling Awards and the ITA Tunnelling Awards, both to be held toward the end of this year.
ITA Tunnelling Awards
Originally launched in 2015 by the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association, this year the ITA Awards ceremony will take place in Paris on 15th November during the AFTES Conference, and Dr. Sauer & Partners along with Dragados has been named a finalist in the Safety Initiative of the Year for its SCL Radial Joint Design at the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade. In addition, Dr. Sauer & Partners as part of the team working on the Confederation LRT Line Project in Ottawa is shortlisted for the Major Project of the Year (Over €500 m) category. NCE Tunnelling Awards
In addition, we have also been shortlisted for two categories at the NCE Tunnelling Awards which will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 7th December this year. The awards are back for their eighth year showcasing the very best in tunnelling expertise. Again, along with Dragados and LU, Dr. Sauer & Partners has been shortlisted in the UK Tunnelling Team of the Year category for Bank Station Capacity Upgrade as well as in the category for Health, Safety and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year.
