Job Title: Senior Tunnel Engineer
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description:
As a full time employed Senior Tunnel Engineer, you will be working in a dynamic and technically focused engineering team, responsible for project delivery and client relationships. Our company ethos and objectives are to continuously discover better ways of solving a project's most technical issues and we look for individuals who can work efficiently across our teams to deliver technical excellence to our clients. You will be responsible for the timely production of key deliverables from designs, drawings and complex analyses with the support from our dedicated engineering teams.
The principal duties are:
Developing engineering concepts, scope descriptions and estimates for projects.
Leading the internal communication of design principles between engineering and CAD teams.
Developing designs, reviewing ground conditions and rock and soil parameters.
Writing reports and specifications to communicate project-specific designs, construction principles, and processes with clients, owners, and third parties.
Early development of construction sequences.
Producing technical notes and design reports.
Producing CAD sketches for the communication of the design principles with the CAD team.
Leading and participating in Dr. Sauer & Partners quality and environmental management systems accredited to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
Qualifications and Experience required:
Minimum of a Master Degree in Civil or Structural / Geotechnical Engineering or similar.
Experience gained from multiple design projects.
Thorough working knowledge and excellent understanding of civil & geotechnical engineering.
Experience gained on projects of FE Analyses, calculation reports and production of design packages.
Excellent English language, representation, organisation and communication skills.
A strong interest and passion in ground engineering and tunnelling is advantageous.
