We were sorry to hear of the passing of Walter Mergelsberg who passed away peacefully in his home in Daytona Beach, FL in December, 2025.   Walter was born in New York on January 22, 1936.  He is survived by one son and his wife Luisa.

The Dr. Sauer & Partners team in Canada recently had the pleasure of riding the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
 

The 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 – 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 has now been officially published by the British Tunnelling Society. 

This Thursday, Dr. Sauer & Partners' Petr Salak will be attending and presenting at 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – 𝗭𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘇𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆, (Railway Bridges and Tunnels Conference) taking place at the O₂ Universum in Prague.

The Detailed Design for the new passenger tunnels on the Elephant & Castle Station Capacity Upgrade Project has now been completed. DRAGADOS is delivering the works for Transport for London, , with AECOM and Dr. Sauer & Partners working together as the integrated design team for the tunnelling and ground engineering elements.
