We are delighted to share that Dr. Sauer & Partners will be working for Dragados with Aecom on the design and supervision of new passenger tunnels on Transport for London's Elephant & Castle station upgrade. Having supported the team during tender to provide the innovative winning design solution we will help deliver the complex tunnelling for Stage 1 of the latest upgrade to the London Underground network connecting the new station box to the existing Northern line platforms and overbridge.
Subsequently, Stage 2 (which is subject to funding) will include the fit-out of the new station box, enabling a new, larger Northern line entrance and ticket hall, with step-free access, to be brought into use. Additionally, the project will include future proofing for the Bakerloo line Extension.
Dr. Sauer & Partners is looking forward to being part of another successful team providing critical TfL upgrades, following recent involvement at the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project and more recently our work on the Bakerloo line Upgrade and Extension feasibility study.
