The Cutting Edge Conference takes place next month in Norfolk, Virginia including an exciting programme of innovation and practical knowledge in tunnelling technology. We are looking forward to being there! 

The TAC Conference is back for 2024, taking place in Montréal. Our team in Canada will have a booth in the exhibition hall at the event (booth 40), if you are there, please do make sure to stop by and say hello!

Dr. Sauer & Partners is happy to join the team for the last piece of tunnelling on Eglinton Crosstown as SEM designer.

On Wednesday 1st November, Dr. Sauer & Partners’ Seenan Alam joined the educational programme for the Tunnelling Association of Canada's Young Members (TACYM) Learning Series. 

The Tunnelling Association of Canada's 2023 Awards Banquet took place this week in Toronto, coinciding with the Conference, and Dr. Sauer & Partners is delighted to have been selected as the recipient of the Canadian Photo of the Year Award.

Between September 24-26th the Tunnelling Association of Canada's annual conference will take place at Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto. On Tuesday, Sept 26 at 8.50am, Partner and MD in Canada, Gerald Skalla will present his paper 'Large Caverns in Sand'.

Over the past few months, The Dr. G. Sauer & Partners team in Canada has been providing engineering support to Mobilinx for the crossing of three live rail tracks at Port Credit in Mississauga.

On Thursday 27th April, Dr. Sauer & Partners’ Senior Tunnel Engineer in North America, Elmar Feigl will take to the stage as part of the TAC's series of monthly talks. He will present our work at Cedarvale Station on the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Line.

We are delighted that the Tunnelling Association of Canada has selected the GO Expansion: Highway 401 and 409 Twin SEM Tunnels Project as the as the 2022 recipient of its Canadian Project of the Year (Over $100M CAD) Award.

With future extensions of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line due to commence in the near future, this short video by World Infra gives a good overview of the future plans for the entire line.
