Dr. Sauer & Partners is happy to join the team for the last piece of tunnelling on Eglinton Crosstown as SEM designer. The Dr. Sauer & Partners team in Canada has been involved in the Crosstown project for some time now, initially supporting Crosslinx Transit Solutions, then WestEnd Connectors. We are proud to now be supporting STRABAG on this next stage of the project, working with WSP in Canada as designers for the West Extension – Advance Tunnel 2 Project.
Full details of the contract award notice can be found on the Infrastructure Ontario website, and the works include a 500-metre tunnel from east of Jane Street to Mount Dennis Station. The STRABAG team comprises STRABAG Inc. as developer and constructor, supported by WSP Canada Inc. and Dr. G. Sauer & Partners Corporation as designers.
Enabling works for the project are underway and major construction is expected to begin later in 2024.
