The Senior SEM Engineer leads the SEM supervision team on a construction site, taking overall responsibility for the implementation of the “Required Excavation and Support” (RES) process.

We are looking for a Senior SEM Inspector to support the SEM tunnel supervision team by inspecting documenting and reporting on construction activities. The role is essential in verifying design assumptions and contributing to the safe and efficient application of the observational method in SEM tunnelling.

This is a dual-function role, with responsibilities split approximately 2/3 Marketing Coordinator and 1/3 Office Coordinator. 

The Senior Tunnel Engineer will be working in a dynamic and technically focused engineering team and will be involved in all aspects of our projects. The successful candidate will work on projects, providing expertise in underground design such as SEM tunnelling, SOE, TBM tunnelling, temporary works and geotechnical design as well as providing support and guidance to team members.

We are looking for a motivated Engineer to join our team, who will become an integral part of the design team and will carry out a number of diverse engineering tasks.
