Dr. Sauer & Partners' Bethan Haig and Dr. Ali Nasekhian, along with Dr. Benoit Jones will be delivering an online course for Engineers Ireland entitled "Fundamentals of Soft Ground Tunnelling from Design to Construction". The purpose of the course is to introduce the concepts and methods of conventional sprayed concrete tunnelling in soft ground to practicing engineers. Delegates will learn about the design principles, key elements of urban tunnelling and identifying risks to the contractors, operators and third parties associated with tunnelling.
