The Czech Tunnelling Association ITA-AITES presents the 16th International Conference entitled “Underground Construction Prague 2026", taking place from 25 to 27 May 2026 in Prague. Petr Salak and Angelos Ghakis will represent Dr. Sauer & Partners.
This international conference is one of the series of conferences “Underground Construction Prague”, which are held every three years. The conference offers a scientific programme, distinguised venue and complementary social programme. The conference will bring together distinguished international experts in the field and for this year's event, Dr. Angelos Ghakis will present a lecture entitled "Shallow Conventional Tunnelling under a Live 21-Lane Highway". Petr Salak will chair Session 2 - Mechanically excavated tunnels.
