Description
Sayeret Duchifat boulevard is one of the busiest roads in Jerusalem, being the north entrance for the city. The underpass project will prioritise the Light Rail Train lines and bus operations on ground level, allowing vehicles to pass below street level. The overall length of the underpass is approximately 15m.
Geology
The stratigraphy of Duchifat underpass comprises compacted engineering fill, weathered and fractured limestone to slightly weathered limestone and dolomite.
