Delivery of a Basement Impact Assessment (BIA) including evaluation of anticipated groundwater levels and flows during and after basement construction.
Description
The project is for a residential care facility located within the Grangegorman Strategic Development Zone. A four-storey building with single-storey basement will be constructed. The building footprint is 2-2.5m higher than surrounding properties. The site is bounded by Elizabeth Court to the north, a protected masonry wall and residential properties to the east, Grangegorman Primary Care Centre (PCC) to the south, and an access road to the west.
Geology
Superficial deposits comprise Made Ground and Dublin Glacial Till which contains sandy gravelly clay underlain by the Lucan Formation (limestones and shales).
