Last week saw the 6th Annual BTSYM Conference, held at Pinsent Masons, London. Showcasing a number of presentations and lectures around the topic of the day: Driving Infrastructure Forward, gave the younger members of the tunnelling world a chance to find out how projects bring benefits to communities, the environment and the economy and how stakeholders can be put at the heart of tunnelling projects.
Two employees from Dr Sauer & Partners were lucky enough to be chosen to present on the day. Cate Anthony gave a presentation on BSCU SCL Radial Joint - Beyond exclusion zones and Alexandra Moldovan gave a talk on SCL vs Squarework, asking the question 'can we build a timberless future?'.
Both colleagues spoke extremely highly of the way the event was organised and received on the day.
