Yusuf Soliman, Geotechnical Engineer in the Toronto office was approached by the North American Editor, Nicole Robinson for a piece on prioritising cross passages. Yusuf discusses approaches to cross passages, and how although they are generally smaller tunnels, they have a big impact, the article includes images of our cross-passage design on Eglinton Crosstown West Extension AT1.
In the same edition, Kristina Smith looks at waterproofing cross passages, some of the associated challenges and new approaches, with Senior Tunnel Engineer, Jorge Monserrat joining the conversation.
Last but not least, Dr. Sauer & Partners' MD in Israel, Petr Salak discusses the part he played in the inception of the ITAym as the organisation celebrates its 10-year anniversary.
