The New Civil Engineer announced its shortlist for the Tunnelling Festival Awards 2021 last week, and we are delighted that our work at Bank has once again been recognised.
The Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project has been named as one of three projects shortlisted in the Innovation in Shaft Design & Construction category. This once again proves the outstanding work of the Dragados, London Underground and Dr. Sauer & Partners team.
New Civil Engineer Editor Claire Smith commented: "Entries to this year’s awards demonstrate how well the tunnelling sector has responded to and overcome the challenges presented to it by the pandemic, the judges were impressed by the standard of entries and every project and initiative who has made it to the shortlist should be proud of their achievement.”
The full list of companies that made the shortlist is available on the event website, and the winners will be announced at the festival awards dinner which takes place on Wednesday 8th December at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge. Good luck to everyone, and we have our fingers crossed!
