Dr. Sauer & Partner's Head of Geotechnics, Dr. Angelos Gakis, along with industry colleagues (Implenia's Manuel Entfellner and DSI Underground's Wolfgang Dolash) will present for the 30th instalment of the ITA-AITES Lunchtime Lecture Series on Tuesday 14th November.
The session "Conventional Tunnelling in highly deformable rocks" will commence at 13:00 CET on Tuesday 14th November. Angelos will discuss conventional tunnelling in highly deformable rocks and associated design considerations, Wolfgang will look at the support elements for conventional tunnelling in highly deformable rocks and Manuel will consider tunnel construction with HS-EPS yielding elements in overstressed weak rocks. The lecture will end with a Q&A with all speakers.
