The Dr. Sauer & Partners team in Canada has just returned from a very successful show - last week saw them hosting a booth at the Tunnelling Association of Canada (TAC) Conference 2020-ONE in Toronto – the first time at a physical event since 2019. The event hosted more than 30 companies and over 300 attendees.
A particular highlight for the team was when, during his keynote speech on day one, the CEO of Metrolinx, Phil Verster specifically mentioned Dr. Sauer & Partners and the three mined station on the Eglinton Crosstown Project designed by the company. This was then followed by the presentation of the award for Project of the Year 2020 during the evening awards ceremony.
MD in Canada, Gerald Skalla presented on day two, sharing our work on the three mined stations with the attendees, many of whom came to visit our booth. It was a great opportunity to be back meeting colleagues and industry connections old and new in person, and we look forward to the next event.
