On Monday 30th November, Dr. Sauer & Partners joined other businesses based in Israel to start delivering training sessions together with the UITP (The International Association of Public Transport) for the government organisation NTA (NTA Metropolitan Mass Transit System). NTA is responsible for development of all LRT and Metro lines in Tel Aviv metropolis. The training sessions will take place over four days spread across the next two weeks, with 75 attendees present for the session on Monday.
The course; “Virtual Classroom – Module 2: Underground Structure Design and Construction Methods” will bring together partnering organisations with Dr. Sauer & Partners’ Juergen Laubbichler, Thomas Schwind, Dr. Angelos Gakis and Petr Salak delivering lectures about Geotechnical survey and geotechnical investigation, Conventional tunnelling methods, Zone of Influence, Damage Assessment and Mitigations.
