The Highway 401 & 409 Rail Tunnel Project that the Dr. G. Sauer & Partners team in Canada worked on alongside WSP Canada Inc. for Toronto Tunnel Partners (a joint venture led by Strabag Inc. and Ellis Don) has been shortlisted for the NCE Tunnelling Festival Awards 2022! We are delighted to see this project named on the shortlist for the Tunnelling Project of the Year (over $100M), which follows on from the project being previously shortlisted in the well-respected International Project of the Year category at the Ground Engineering Awards that took place in September.
Additionally, the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project has also made the shortlist in the Tunnelling Team of the Year category - for this epic project to once again make the shortlist at the industry awards emphasises its significance within the industry.
The NCE Tunnelling Festival is in its 12th year and offers a platform for businesses to have their contribution to the industry recognised as well as offering the chance to celebrate their hard work. The awards ceremony will take place on 7th December, we look forward to attending along with some of biggest names in the industry.
