This month marks the tenth anniversary for Senior Tunnel Engineer and Project Manager Elmar Feigl at Dr. Sauer & Partners. Elmar joined the company in 2014 in our UK office before relocating to the USA and joining the Washington team in 2016 to work on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Project where he was the project controls manager and part of the design team carrying out the structural design of the 20m wide mined station caverns.
Elmar has gained broad experience in the management and coordination of large metro, road and railway tunnel projects in Europe, Middle East, and North America. On multiple projects in Israel, UK, USA, and Canada he was involved in tunnel supervision services as design representative on site.
On celebrating this milestone, Elmar commented "It feels like yesterday, when Juergen invited me to a job interview in Salzburg. Gerhard himself opened the door and welcomed me in his unique positive, kind and pleasant manner - as though we had known each other for ages! I immediately got the feeling this is the right place for me, where I belong. Since then my career ar Dr. Sauer & Partners has continued to evolve and has always involved working in outstanding projects and assignments in the UK, Canada and US; not to forget all the wonderful and kind colleagues I have met and worked with, on both sides of the Atlantic, many I can really can count as friends. Looking forward to another, hopefully, amazing ten years. GLUECK AUF!"
Thank you Elmar for all of your dedication over the years, we wish you continued success and look forward to working with you in the years ahead.
