Dr. Sauer & Partners, Tel Aviv, is delighted to participate in the construction of one of the world's largest desalination plants.
IDE Technologies, a world leader in the field of water treatment, with its headquarters in Israel, was awarded the contract to build the Sorek2 Seawater Desalination Plant. The facility is located south of Tel Aviv, and on completion will be the world's largest seawater desalination plant. Dr. Sauer & Partners will support IDE in its construction of the plant, and will provide pipejacking inspection services for the project.
The construction of the Sorek 2 Plant marks an historic moment in the history of Israel’s water economy, securing water resources for the future while reducing the cost of this precious commodity.
Managing Director of the Israel operation, Petr Salak said: “We are pleased to be involved in this monumental project, which upon completion will increase the desalination capacity in Israel by 35%.
