As part of International Women in Engineering Day, Dr. Sauer & Partners’ Andrea Pamsl was invited to present at UK Parliament.
Organised and hosted by British Parliament, and chaired by Isabel Coman, the event saw Andrea present alongside two other external speakers (Natasha Watson from Buro Happold and Sarah Weeden from Bridges) and two speakers from parliament (Johanna Berntsonjarje and Catherine Hallett). Andrea presented to a group of parliament employees, external professionals and students, opening up for a Q&A session after her discussion ‘Plans are meant to be changed’.
On being invited to present at the event, Andrea said “It is an absolute honour being asked to share my story at the Parliament event. My career path for sure has more in common with a scenic road rather than a highway, but it will hopefully show that stereotypes are there to be broken. The bottom line is: Be open, be curious and have fun!”
