This week's TechFest 2024, takes place on Wednesday 26th November at the Hilton Metropole, London and aims to deliver a unique forum to discover innovative ideas from across the industry. The programme will look at key challenges, drivers, and benefits of adopting technology within the industry - as both construction and the civil sector modernise and embrace technology. The evening TechFest Awards will celebrate the projects, teams and companies embracing innovation and harnessing technology to propel the industry forward.
This year, we are delighted Dr. Sauer & Partners' Brian Lyons, Alexandra Moldovan and Sebastian Kumpfmueller will join the judging panel to help decide the winners of categories such as Best Use of Technology: Carbon Reduction in Design, and Innovative Consultant of the Year amongst others. Our staff members will be in great company on the judging panel, and we wish them luck with the difficult task! A full list of the categories is also available on the awards website.
In addition, Senior Geotechnical Engineer in London, Shawn Sismondi will join the afternoon panel discussion: Delivering change: Enabling innovation within construction and engineering. The discussion will conclude the day's sessions, summarising the insights from the day and exploring how we can better enable innovation within the sector.
