On Thursday 3rd December 2015, the winners of the annual NCE Tunnelling & Underground Space Awards were announced at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Dr. Sauer & Partners joined in the celebrations as London Underground’s Bond Street Station Upgrade Project was awarded the prize for Global Tunnelling Project of the Year (up to $500M). With responsibility for the SCL design of the Primary and Secondary Linings as well as providing Design Representatives on site, Dr. Sauer & Partners added a valuable contribution to this success.
The awards celebrate tunnelling success and overall excellence in the delivery of international tunnelling projects and are now in their sixth year. We are delighted to have played a part in what has been recognised by the industry as a hugely significant and successful project. Congratulations to all of the winners at this year's event!
