As part of this year’s National Tunnelling Day, the BTSYM set itself the challenge of reaching more than 1,000 young people to share its passion for the tunnelling industry with them.
Thursday, 6th December 2018, marks the UK’s National Tunnelling Day. As in previous years, the Dr. Sauer & Partners teams across the various projects we are working on are celebrating the day.
On Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th December, Dr. Sauer & Partners will be playing a part in New Civil Engineer’s Tunnelling Festival 2018 - A celebration of global tunnelling expertise and project excellence.
Last month, a paper written by Chara Kalogeraki and Dr. Angelos Gakis of Dr. Sauer & Partners and Dr. Panagiotis Spyridis from the Technical University of Dortmund (previously Dr. Sauer & Partners) was presented during the 16th International Probabilistic Workshop (IPW) in Vienna.
Dr. Sauer & Partners will be at the BTS Conference and Exhibition 2018 next week, with both a booth and presentation during the conference proceedings.
The 44th ITA-AITES General Assembly and Wold Tunnel Congress (WTC) took place on April 21 – 26, 2018 in Dubai, UAE. The congress’ main theme this year was “How can underground spaces enable cities to develop sustainably and become resilient?”.
