In April, Dr. Sauer & Partners‘ Senior Tunnel Engineers Dr. Panagiotis Spyridis and Dr. Ali Nasekhian attended EURO:TUN, the fourth International Conference on Computational Methods in Tunnelling and Subsurface Engineering which took place in Innsbruck, Austria.

Dr Sauer & Partners (DSP) is proud to present Mr. Omar Mohammed as the winner of the prestigious Harding Prize 2017. The Harding Prize recognises outstanding performance in the tunnelling industry by young engineers under 33 years of age.

Dr Sauer & Partners' Bethan Haig has been named as a finalist in the 2017 Women in Construction & Engineering Awards. 

We are delighted to have been named as winners of the  Tunnel Design  category at the  Arabian Tunnelling Awards 2017  during the 4^th Arabian Conference & Exhibition which took place in Dubai, last week. Our work for Crossrail’s Farringdon Station was selected as the winner in this category.

Next week, on Tuesday 21^st and Wednesday 22^nd February 2017, the 4^th Arabian Tunnelling Conference & Exhibition takes place at the Ritz Carlton in Dubai. 

On Tuesday 7^th February, Dr Sauer & Partners sponsored the launch event for Think Deep UK, a recently formed group of built environment experts committed to creating resilient, sustainable and liveable cities through the smart use of underground space.

On Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th October, Dr Sauer & Partners will be exhibiting at the British Tunnelling Society’s Annual Conference which takes place at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster.

On Thursday, 3rd December 2015, The British Tunnelling Society announces the first UK National Tunnelling Day in recognition of all national tunnelling projects in the UK and by way of promoting the industry. 

The society has held a dinner every year since 1989 and Dr. Sauer & Partners has been attending this event for many years.  

The British Tunnelling Society Young Members (BTSYM) hosted their second conference on 27th March 2015 in London.
